My first photo is of spooky purple bats for the upcoming Halloween celebration. They are magnetic and stick easily to my refrigerator door.My mother in all of her plum finery. She recently passed away only 20 days short of her 96th birthday and I enjoy looking at all the vintage photos that I have of her. She was a sharp dresser and she always put together just the right accessories to top off her outfits. I've always loved this special photo of her.
Finally a good example of the color violet with some violets on a hankie!
My mother saved her hankie collection so I have quite an assortment of colors and designs to choose from.

Your selection of violets are beautiful, especially the photo of your Mom! What a pretty woman she was -- my condolences on her passing.
Beautiful choices for violet. That image of your mom is gorgeous. I hope you're coping as well as you can.
That photograph of your mother is wonderful. You're so fortunate to have it. She looks so stylish. I have some of my mom's hankies too. I didn't even think to look at them for something violet.

That's a really beautiful pic of your mom. Thanks for posting it.
purple bats on a black fridge...too cool!
I adore the photo of your mom...she was obviously quite stylish. I have 1 hat that came from my grandmother...it is a strip of mink with black fishnet that drops over the eyes. I love it.
I love your collection of violet. Those bats are the CUTEST. Your mom is lovely, too.
Oh L. That picture of your Mother is absolutely gorgeous. What a stylish, beautiful woman. You look so much like your Mom. I see you especially through the eyes and nose.
