Notecard Party~~Vintage Weddings

I love all things vintage and I have several old wedding photos that my cousin gave to me.  I know some people in these photos and I don't have a clue who some people are in the others!  I'm linking to Vee's Notecard Party so visit her blog and check out other postcards.

This "Just Married" photo is of my mom's cousin Madeline.  Madeline's sister, Stella, is on the far right.

I don't know a soul in this photo but the wedding took place many, many years ago judging from the fashion and the abundant flowers.

She's pretty but I don't know who she is.

This is the first time I've participated in the Notecard Party so I don't even know if I'm following the rules and doing this right.  Oh, well, enjoy the wedding photos.

These are just beautiful. But your address in the link is not exactly right. I typed it in to visit you but you can write a comment on Vee's blog and she can help you. You have an extra letter in front of your blog address. If I can help, please let me know! Hugs, Diane

Wonderful vintage photos celebrating happy days! So glad that you joined right in. Our "rules" are evolving and, as far as I can tell, you've done just fine.

Very nicely done. The picture where you don't know anyone looks very much like my grandmothers wedding photo so sometime in the early 1900's would be a good guess.

I'm so glad you joined here because these are really beautiful to me. I am another one who is a fan of vintage weddings. (I'm actually just a regular wedding groupie too. I'm a hopeless romantic.) These photos are treasures in my view. I actually could see them marketed to send as wedding congratulations or engagement cards. Love them.

Hello Loretta
We all love a wedding and your beautiful vintage photos make great note cards.
I love the third card - I think it could have been a 1920's wedding - very styley and makes me think of Downton Abbey!
It's lovely to meet you at Vees and I hope you'll join us next time too!

I'm following you now.
Hugs
Shane

Welcome to the Notecard Party - you shared some great old wedding photos - reminds me of a nifty collection I have that I may try to feature sometime. There's ALWAYS a good story behind vintage wedding pictures - I like to imagine what it was like preparing for the big day - choosing and creating the dresses and the flowers - and the photo sessions must have taken a great deal of time. Hope to see you next time. Also - consider sharing your best and brightest post from this past month on my monthly link-in The Writer's Reverie: All Things Bright and Beautiful Linkin - check out the detail page on my blog. It opens on April 28 this month. Hope you link in - see you there!
Joy!
