Our school secretary liked to cut out,
paint, and decorate different wooden
pieces to give away as gifts. She would
invite several teachers to her house to
work on seasonal decorations, and we
would have so much fun while working
on our masterpieces. She would call it
"our get-togethers" and I would call it our
"therapy". During one of our creative sessions, I made these RED pieces of watermelon complete with an "ant" that enjoyed his/her sampling of the delicious fruit!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment on my I Saw Red post. Isn't this a fun challenge to find something red to share each day? You asked how I make the inchies...(it's really fun)and I use a 1" square punch to cut out squares of card stock for the base. Different people use different things like watercolor paper, chipboard, etc. Some people use a paper cutter or scissors to cut out their sqaures, but I prefer the !" punch. Then you just go to town making a teeny-tiny collage. It's fun to use a face and then put a one word caption when creating the mini collage, but really anything goes. Below are two links of tutorials for making inchies...enjoy!xo
